How We Started ?
In the early 2000s, when SEO was still in its infancy, Whitelake began as a humble three-member team driven by passion for the web. Despite limited infrastructure, poor bandwidth, and high internet telephone costs, we were determined to help businesses get discovered online—starting with directory listings like DMOZ and Yahoo Business Listings.
Our dedication paid off: we successfully listed numerous businesses for a nominal fee, and soon our reputation spread through word of mouth. A significant milestone came when we were recognized as a top coder on RentACoder, which brought in a wave of new clients and opportunities.
As the digital landscape evolved, so did we—expanding our services into article marketing, social media management, and paid advertising. Along the way, we were fortunate to meet incredibly supportive clients. Notably, Mr. Pala Serhat from Printcountry, one of our earliest US clients, generously created sales pages for us free of charge and offered invaluable mentorship. There are other clients who used our white label services and we cannot disclose them or their agency, but very grateful for their unconditional help. Today, we’re proud to still serve clients who have been with us for over 15 years; their trust has been central to our journey towards becoming a Google Premier Partner Agency.
Behind our growth stands the dedication of remarkable teammates. Our Vice Presidents, Mr. Jenin Alex and Mr. Arun Dev, alongside Aravind, Kolappan, and Afexena—who have each been with us for over a decade—have played pivotal roles in our success. We also fondly remember and honor Mr. Karthik Nataraj, whose contributions were instrumental before his untimely passing.
Now, as we enter our 25th year of service, we know that it’s the unwavering support from our clients and the tireless efforts of our team that have shaped Whitelake into what it is today—a trusted, award-winning digital marketing and technology solutions partner.
